There Mound Builder Hands are based off of shell gorgets found at the mounds like the Spiro Mounds of Oklahoma. Each hand is carved out of pink mussel shell. The Morning Star in the palm is Tufa cast, which was Carved from Volcanic ash and then cast with molten silver. The Morning Star is the star that greets us each morning when we pray to the east for the start of our days journey. The top stone comes from the southwestern turquoise mine called Cadaleria, a Beautiful striking bright blue. This is a special one of a kind piece that has meaning in all my tribes front the SW and SE, great piece to add to your collection..
